Description

Traditionally, the days around September 24, the name day of our Salzburg patron saint Rupert, are celebrated with a large cathedral consecration festival.

The Old Market, Residenzplatz, Mozartplatz, Domplatz and Kapitelplatz are all under the banner of Rupertikirtag from September 19 to 24. With the Benzinfreitagen of the Salzburger Verkehrsverbund, you can travel to the Salzburg Rupertikirtag free of charge by bus and train.
