Mountain Day: over the alpine trail to the Hinterbergkofel (2.726m)

Together we experience an exciting challenge today:

Our tour today starts from the end of the valley. We first follow trail no. 53 along a pleasant forest path up to the Weissbach Hut (2,112m). From there we turn left and hike a few hundred metres along the Almweg 2000.

Now our adventure begins: it goes steeply up the hillside, over many small hairpin bends and seemingly endless wooden steps, with always beautiful views, we reach our summit: the Hinterbergkofel (2,726m).

But the sweaty climb is worth it: with a view of the Gsieser mountains, the Dolomites and the Rieserferner group Antholz, the effort is quickly forgotten. The descent is over the Hallscharte back to the Weissbach Hut and for some well-deserved relaxation you return to your Hotel Quelle.

Walking time: approx. 5.5 hours
