Description
From the Karwendel-Bergbahn mountain station, the trail leads south to the Bärenbadalm and continues along a beautiful forest path to the Weißenbachsattel. There, the marked trail branches off to the south toward the Stanser Joch. The climb, which is steep in places, winds its way through dwarf pine fields and blooming alpine roses up to a saddle. From here, the route continues to the left along avalanche barriers and on flat terrain to the summit cross of the Stanser Joch (2,102 meters). The descent follows the same route back to Pertisau.
