Description

Hallstatt Keramik produces utility and decorative ceramics all kinds of tableware is turned on the potter's wheel! Figures and other decorative objects are modelled by hand! (unique pieces) In the case of ceramic objects that are made more often, the object is first modelled and then a plaster mould is made of it, which is then shaped with clay. Later the pattern is carved or partly remodelled. After drying, the raw firing follows at approx. 960°C, then the glazing and the glaze firing at approx. 1070°c. Some parts are still gilded and fired at about 760 °c in the gold fire!
