Alpine Zoo Innsbruck

Description

A visit to the ALPENZOO is a special experience at any time of year! Even in winter, almost all animal species can be seen, as only the marmots, reptiles and amphibians sleep through the cold season. Most young animals are born in the ALPENZOO from April - June, with ibex, chamois and roe deer born in May - June. From the beginning of March, on the other hand, many bird species are mating or busy building their nests, which is always exciting to watch.

Evening tours at the Alpine Zoo

Every summer, the Alpine Zoo offers its visitors the opportunity to take part in an evening tour twice a week. Zoo enthusiasts can join the guided tours every Tuesday and Thursday at 18:00 and learn more about the animals of the Alpine region. It is not necessary to book in advance. The evening tours take place from 11.07. to 7.9.2023.
