Stoanerne Mandlen

The Stoanernen Mandln are one of the most beautiful vantage points of the Sarntal Alps: from here you can see the whole Dolomite world up to the Marmolata and King Ortler.

Be sure to take a hike to these more than 100 "Mandln" made of stones. Like a crowd of soldiers, the columns piled up from sandstone slabs await you.

The hike starts at the Sarner ski hut, above Sarnthein in the fraction Auen. Follow the forest road (path no. 2) to the Auener Alm and from there continue to the Auener Jöchl (large signpost). Continue left to the Stoanernen Mandlen (trail no. 23).
