Hike Gartalm *

Experience a circular hike in the Tuxer Voralpen Gartalm - Loassattel

Meeting point: 8:30 am in front of the hotel entrance

Facts: 4 h - 11 km - approx. 600 m - fitness and sure-footedness required

We take the hotel bus to the starting point together - the first 7 registrations can take the bus, the rest are asked to follow in their own car

Starting point: Schellenberg parking lot; refreshment stop: Gartalm

DON'T FORGET: enough to drink, change of T-shirt, small snack, muesli bar, ... at least. Ankle-high hiking boots, appropriate clothing, sun protection, individual hiking poles

From the Schellenbergalm (1,310 m), a wide forest and hiking trail first leads us to the forest path towards the Gartalm Niederleger. The last few meters uphill, the path becomes narrower and stony - surefootedness required. The trail then climbs steeply uphill via the "Bruno Bärenweg" to the Gartalm Hochleger.

During the entire ascent, we enjoy a beautiful mountain and alpine landscape and at the Gartalm (1,830 m) we are rewarded with a wonderful view of the panorama of the Zillertal mountains.

A refreshment stop at the hut is possible. After refreshments, we continue along the foot of the Kuhmesser to the Loassattel (1,683 m), a plateau between Hochfügen and the Inntal valley.

This technically demanding high-altitude hike is suitable for hikers in good physical condition, nature lovers and those who enjoy panoramic views.
