10:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m., or 2:00 p.m. at the Latschau climbing wall

Außerlitzstraße 80, Schruns
Duration: approx. 1.5 hours (climbing time only: 1 hour.)
Accompanied by a Montafon mountain guide, the easily accessible via ferrata at the Latschau reservoir is ideal for families who want to gain their first via ferrata experience together. With difficulty levels ranging from A to C, children and adults practice safe use of the via ferrata set, and it is possible to exit at any time. In the afternoon, the rock here is particularly sunny, accompanied by a view of the nearby Zimba, the “Matterhorn of the Montafon.” This activity pairs perfectly with a morning of skiing on the Golm ski area.
Meeting point: 10:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m., or 2:00 p.m. at the Latschau climbing rock.
The climbing rock is located next to the Waldseilpark, on the opposite side of the reservoir near the Golmerbahn mid-station in Latschau. It’s about a 10-minute walk from the Latschau Golmerbahn bus stop: Walk along the shore of the reservoir, circling the lake once, until you reach the climbing rock on the other side. Not directly in the Waldseilpark, but next to it on the rock face. The easily accessible via ferrata at the Latschau reservoir is ideal for practicing how to use a via ferrata set as well as climbing on a via ferrata at difficulty levels A through C. You can exit at any time. Additionally, the view of nearby Zimba—the Matterhorn of the Montafon—is a major draw. This activity pairs perfectly with a visit to the Golm Adventure Park and its attractions: the Alpine Coaster Golm, the Golm Forest Rope Park, and the Golm Flying Fox.
This experience is organized by the Berge Plus program.
