Short hike up the Buchenberg

Beautifully situated on a panoramic plateau at an altitude of 1,140 m, the Buchenbergalm offers a magnificent view of the surrounding castles, mountains and lakes (13-lake view).

According to the philosophy of the landlords, all food and pastry products come from their own production.

Your walk to the Buchenbergalm is best started from the parking lot of the Buchenbergbahn, either directly on the road to the top or via the shady root path or the stream path. All paths are signposted and marked.

You drive from Schwangau on the B17 in the direction of Buching. The parking lot of the Buchenbergbahn is located at Füssener Straße 19 in 87642 Halblech.

The Alm is open until 23.12.2021 Saturday and Sunday from 09:00 - 18:00.
