From the Hochberg parking lot, follow the gravel path further into the valley, first along the stream, then up a few bends into the alpine pasture area to the Faulbaumgartenalm. The mighty Galtenberg is enthroned opposite the alp. From the alpine pasture there are a few more hiking options, e.g. another hour to the Steinbergalm. Return via the same route;
