60' yoga + 15' Pranayama, complete lesson
(You may leave the hall after the yoga class alone or complete it with the breathing exercises. You may not access the Pranayama only)
Learning to breathe is learning to live.
Our breath changes involuntarily (becoming anxious, shallower or accelerated) according to the situations of our lives. Nonetheless, if we learn to voluntarily control our breath we can change the way we react to the different events of life (keeping calmer more serene less physically and mentally stressed) and be
happier.
Practice that leads back to rootedness. Summer expansion, has lightened us and in autumn we realize we are a bit scattered, sometimes confused, searching for new stability. We compensate for the air that tends to accumulate in the gut, especially in this season, with rhythmic, steady movements to balance the mental fluctuations and unstable weather that are reflected in our emotions.
