Alpine Pasture Tour in the Mountaineering Village of Ginzling

Through a stunning cultural landscape

We hike past the historic Fürstenhaus with its picturesque chapel and make our way through the secluded forest up to Innerböden (1,301 m). From there, we continue the alpine pasture loop to Oberböden (1,533 m), where a breathtaking view of the adjacent side valleys opens up. Soon we’ll reach the picturesque Wildalm (1,740 m) with its summit cross—both popular photo spots. In the background, we’ll catch a glimpse of the glaciated peaks of the Zillertal Alps and the Zsigmondy-Spitze, a peak with a very special history! From the Wildalm, there are several routes to descend back to the mountaineering village, such as the one that passes by the rustic Paschbergalm (1,358 m). Once we arrive in Ginzling, we can visit the exciting “Glacier Worlds” exhibition at the Nature Park Center.
