Winter hiking - Hadeggweg

Start the hike at St. Johann train station.

At the train station, take the underpass under the platforms to the other side of the tracks. Once here, follow Reinbachstraße in a southerly direction. After the Hotel Hubertusstube, turn right into Wieshofgasse, where you can safely walk through the underpass under the B311 main road. After the underpass, follow the footpath along the B311 to the other side of the stream in the direction of the Jet petrol station, then follow Hedeggweg uphill to the right. After you have passed the settlement, continue uphill along Hedeggweg. As there is little traffic on this road, we think it is also suitable for a leisurely winter hike as you make your way through the beautiful natural landscape with a wonderful view of St. Johann and follow the road to its end at the Hedegg farm. Follow the same route back.

Don't forget to bring enough liquid (tea, water) and a change of clothes if necessary!
