Experience nature in its purest form
The Bleistätter Moor was originally one of Carinthia’s largest moorland areas, covering approximately 600 hectares.
The reserve’s many different habitats are of great ecological value. This expansive area is one of Carinthia’s most important bird sanctuaries. It’s a wonderful place to explore via a roughly 7-kilometer-long “Slow Trail,” where you can admire many great birding spots. Experience nature and tranquility in breathtaking surroundings.
The guided tours are sponsored by the State of Carinthia – Department of Nature Conservation and are free of charge
