HikeThe one with the lake view

This easy tour starts in the village of Rehetobel. The path leads on a gently ascending nature trail to the highest point of Rehetobel; the Kaienspitz.

At about 1,100 meters above sea level, you can enjoy a wonderful view over the whole Appenzellerland, Lake Constance and up to Säntis. From here it's a leisurely descent, the last bit, to Heiden.
