Forest tour into a wild and romantic side valley near Ginzling

From the nature park house we walk a short distance along the Ginzlinger Rundwanderweg before we branch off into the small Gunggltal valley. On a rustic path we slowly wind our way up through the gnarled mountain forest. On this path we learn a lot of exciting information about the forest and its inhabitants. When we hear the stream, we are almost at the Maxhütte. Here the valley opens up and behind the pastures we spy the high peaks at the head of the valley. We hike a bit further through the lovely alpine pasture area until we see a striking terrain step, where some small waterfalls fall down into the valley basin. On the way back we can stop at the rustic Maxhütte and fortify ourselves for the descent to the mountaineering village of Ginzling.
