Ornate churches and chapels with wonderfully carved winged altars, frescoes and paintings invite you to moments of quiet contemplation and bear witness to the religious life in the Dolomite valley of Villnöss. In Villnöss people still hold on to their traditions today. During the traditional Corpus Christi procession, not only the Villnöss music band takes part, but you can also see the marksmen's company and the farmers' wives in their traditional festive dresses.
