Details

On Wednesday, 28 January, the Olympic flame will cross South Tyrol along the border with the neighbouring provinces.

Starting early in the morning from Ortisei in Val Gardena, the torch will be carried on skis along the Sellaronda, then continue by skijoring through the “Stone City” (Langfalk) into Val di Fassa.

Around midday, the Olympic flame will return to South Tyrolean territory at Lake Carezza. From there, it will continue through Trentino to Cavalese, the final destination of the 52nd stage, where the official handover will take place.
