During this 2-hour walk in the fresh air you will get to know the green giants of the forest also in their winter dress.
Immerse yourself in the beauty of the Gastein winter. Leave everyday life behind you during guided winter forest bathing in the Angertal valley. Forest bathing is conscious perception of nature. The practice originated in Japan, has a stress-reducing effect, sharpens the senses and promotes inner peace. Due to terpenes - messenger substances that plants release into the air - forest bathing has been proven to activate the immune system and thus prevent a variety of diseases.
The starting point of the hike is at the ski center Angertal at 1,200 meters above sea level. The alpine altitude provides our bodies with particularly pure air and the sugared coniferous trees release valuable essential oils even in winter. Together we head into the deep snow-covered forest. In the white landscape small details come to light. The play of the sun, the mosses on tree trunks, exposed rocks and tracks in the snow. During mindfulness exercises, the senses open up. We encourage creativity with a work of nature art. Movement exercises get our spirits going. Walking meditation in the snow and spruce needle tea let us finally become one with nature.
