With only around 200 inhabitants, it is quiet, idyllic and perfect for a short trip with children.

The highlight for families is the Böhmisch Wiesenthal playground, which is built around a small lake. Here children can climb, balance and play while parents enjoy the relaxed atmosphere. The varied play stations make the playground a real insider tip for little explorers.

The Pöhlbach, which also forms the border between Germany and the Czech Republic, flows between Loučná pod Klínovcem and Oberwiesenthal. A walk along the stream is beautiful at any time of year. In winter, the trail is particularly popular - children can even be pulled along the stream on a sledge for extra fun.
