Learning to breathe is learning to live.
Our breath changes involuntarily (becoming anxious, shallower or accelerated) according to the situations of our lives. Nonetheless, if we learn to voluntarily control our breath we can change the way we react to the different events of life (keeping calmer more serene less physically and mentally stressed) and be
happier.
The first Chakra (Muladhara) is crucial in this season for casting an anchor of stability, of firmness of centering. Its activation allows us not to dissipate the energy of the other energy centers downward and to put it in close relationship with the third (Manipura) to concentrate life forces in the center and preserve the fire that allows us to digest and assimilate food and life circumstances.
