Hike to the Olperer Hut with Nili

GUIDED HIKE OLPERERHÜTTE & HÄNGEBRÜCKE SCHLEGEIS - with Nili

With the coolnest shuttle (limited places for the first 8 registrations / all others drive themselves with their own car / carpooling) we head into the valley and through the Zemmgrund to the Schlegeis reservoir at 1,782m (address: Dornauberg 118, 6295 Austria). We park directly at this impressive turquoise-blue reservoir and start our approx. 2-hour, challenging hike to the Olpererhütte. The trail leads through a short section of forest with fragrant stone pine trees before being lined with lush mountain pines. Along the Riepenbach stream, we enjoy the view of the largest reservoir in the Zillertal and the imposing, snow-capped 3000-metre peaks in the background. On the way there, we take a few extra steps past the Olpererhütte. The famous Zillertal suspension bridge, probably the most popular and world-famous Insta spot in Tyrol, is just a five-minute walk away. Daredevil-looking photos on social media have made this bridge famous, although in reality it is only 3 meters above the ground. But it's all about the perspective. After stopping off at the Olpererhütte, we enjoy the view with a refreshment before slowly making the 1.5-hour descent back to the reservoir and heading "home" to the coolnest.

Good hiking boots or trail running shoes, functional clothing, jacket, hat, cap or headband, rucksack, water bottle, snacks, sun cream, sunglasses.

The shuttle is available for the first 8 participants. If more guests register for the hike, we will form carpools to drive to the Schlegeis reservoir.
