Yay, we are delighted to announce that Franz Theodor Lenze from the Sauerland will be back for the upcoming event at the Grawandhütte - for the fourth time! The experienced chef and nature lover will conjure up a unique six-course menu of regional highlights, inspired by the best local ingredients and accompanied by atmospheric live music.
Barbara, the hostess and soul of the Grawandhütte, is the third generation to run the hut. Owned by the Steindl family for 70 years, the hut is more than just a place of hospitality for Barbara; it is a piece of living family tradition. It is a matter close to Barbara's heart to preserve the tradition and at the same time bring in fresh ideas so that the hut can one day be passed on to her children.
The menu, which is served at 7 pm, is a true journey through the flavors of the region: eggs from the Heiseler Hof farm in Radfeld, fresh vegetables from the Knapp family in Hall, milk, cheese and meat from the Demeterhof farm in Ginzling, game from the Zemmgrund hunting area and fish from Schlegeis. A perfect wine and beer accompaniment from the regional brewery Zillertal Bier rounds off the Grawand Alpine pleasure experience and makes it an unforgettable culinary delight, rooted in the Tyrolean mountains.
A little tip: Please arrive early enough to freshen up and arrive in peace. That way you can relax and enjoy the evening to the full!
