Sunrise hike Unnütz

Sunrise tour on the Vorderunnütz: Experience the magic of the first rays of sunshine in the mountains and enjoy an impressive summit tour with unforgettable views.

A mountain tour at sunrise is a very special experience. Early in the morning, we take the hotel bus to the Köglalm at 1,431 m above sea level. From there, the trail leads along a red mountain hiking trail in around two hours towards the summit of the Vorderunnütz at 2,078 m above sea level. The route initially runs through sparse mountain forest, then through mountain pines and onwards over increasingly open, rocky terrain. Once you reach the top, you will be rewarded with an impressive panorama and the first rays of sunshine of the day.

Ascent: approx. 650 hm

Descent: approx. 1.150 hm (to the hotel)

Difficulty: moderately difficult (challenging)

Prerequisites: sure-footedness and good physical condition

Bring: hiking boots (no sneakers), water bottle, warm clothing, packed lunch (available from the hotel if you register by 18:00 the day before)
