The great Rosengarten circuit is a wonderful hike for experienced mountaineers with fantastic views of the surrounding mountains.
From the Frommeralm, take the König Laurin I+II cable car to the Kölner Hütte (2,339 m), where our mountain tour begins. First, the steep ascent leads to the Tschagerjoch (2,630 m) with the help of a short steel cable, then down to the Baumann Pass and further up to the Zigolade Pass (2,579 m). The descent is to the Rotwand hut and the Christomanno monument. Then you head to the paolina hut and take the chairlift downhill to the hotel.
Difficult hike - good surefootedness required!
