Below is an overview of dog-friendly beaches on the North Sea in Schleswig-Holstein. Most of the beaches along the North Sea are grassy. Swimming in the North Sea isn’t always possible, as the water level depends on the tides. If there’s no water, you can still enjoy lovely walks on the mudflats. On most dog-friendly beaches, your dogs must be kept on a leash. One exception is the dog-friendly beach at St. Peter-Ording. However, please always check the local rules on site.
