Monte Scale hike - Between history and high-altitude views
Prepare to experience an unforgettable adventure in the mountains of Alta Valtellina, along a loop trail that combines spectacular landscapes, wilderness and traces of history.
The starting point will be the bus stop at Cornegliani Ferry, easily reachable even for those who prefer to arrive by car: convenient parking spaces are available near the trail.
The meeting point for those leaving from Bormio will be at the Perego bus station, with time to be determined.
From the starting point we will begin to climb along the suggestive Sentiero dei Fortini, which will lead us up to the locality Boscopiano. Along the way, we will be accompanied by breathtaking views of the Braulio Valley, with its bold curves and historic fortifications that tell stories of borders and men.
This experience is not just a hike: it is an authentic immersion in the beauty of our mountains, where every step is an opportunity to connect with the land, between nature, silence and memory.
The trail will end at the picturesque location of the Old Baths, from which it will be possible to:
return to Bormio on foot, for those who wish to continue on their own;
or take advantage of the urban buses available
Those who had reached the starting point by car will be able to return on foot through the Baths Park, closing the loop immersed in greenery.
