Together with the guide, you’ll dive into the world of ski flying and get an interesting and exciting look behind the scenes at the Oberstdorf ski flying hill. What’s the difference between this and a ski jump? What’s the hill record? When was the hill built? Can you jump in the summer, too?

You’ll find all these answers—and more—during a guided tour of the ski flying hill. Our guides will take you on a tour of “their” ski flying hill. They’ll take you on a journey into the past and share their own personal stories from their time at and around the hill.

You’ll gain insight into the history of skiing in Oberstdorf, the development of ski jumping and ski flying, and surely hear a few behind-the-scenes stories, since all our guides are deeply rooted in the world of skiing.

The tour begins at the ski jump landing area and takes you all the way to the top via the inclined elevator and ski lift.

The tours take place mostly outdoors.
