Alpine village promenade

The starting point is the Alpendorf. To the right of the Hotel Tannenhof, past the Hotel Alpenschlössl, a flat path leads through wooded areas to the Grubhof farm. During this walk you will have a magnificent view of the Salzach valley. From the Grubhof you can walk along the Großarl main road to the town center, where numerous restaurants and cafés invite you to linger. You can return the same way or take the bus (line 540 St. Johann - Großarl) back. Departure times are available at the tourist office.
