Mountain hike with a fantastic view over the Vinschgau Valley

We meet at the parking lot of the sports field in

Goldrain / Quellensee. With our own car we drive together about 15 min. to just behind the marble village Laas. Here we start our mountain hiking tour on the sunny side of Laas. The hiking tour leads at the beginning somewhat steeply and then in comfortable gradient over the Laaser Leiten below the mountain village Tanas. Around noon we will reach a beautiful resting place in the steppe-like landscape of the Vinschger Sonnenberg, where we will enjoy our snack (from our own backpack) and be rewarded with a magnificent panorama. Our view extends over the Vinschgau valley basin over the entire mountain ridge of the 8 summit march and magnificent views of the Laas valley with the marble quarry and the marble inclined railroad.
