Lake Pragser Wildsee is one of the most beautiful mountain lakes in the Alps and captivates visitors with crystal-clear, turquoise water as well as an impressive panoramic view of the Dolomites. The loop trail around the lake is easy to navigate and offers magnificent views in every season.

Lake Pragser Wildsee is about a 45-minute drive from the Mountainlodge Margit.

Lake Pragser Wildsee – crystal-clear, turquoise water and an impressive mountain backdrop

Circular trail around the lake – an easy hike with a walking time of about 1 hour

Historic Hotel Pragser Wildsee – a traditional hotel right on the lakeshore

Starting point for further tours – ideal for hikes to the Seekofel and the Seekofel Hut, and into the Fanes area

During peak season, typically from July through September, vehicle access is partially restricted. An online parking reservation is required for those arriving by car or public transportation.


💡 Our tip:

Early in the morning or late in the afternoon, Lake Pragser Wildsee is at its most beautiful. At these times, the atmosphere is particularly peaceful and atmospheric, and there are usually fewer visitors.

Can be combined with a visit to Lake Antholz.
