The glaciers in the Hohe Tauern National Park are a fascinating phenomenon full of mysteries.
On this day hike along the Innergschlöss Glacier Trail, the glaciated peaks reveal themselves in all their glory, and as you pass Lake Salzboden, the cotton grass-covered “Eye of God,” and the imposing glacial striations of the Schlatenkees, your eyes will sparkle.
