A quiet mountain hike in the unknown Litzertal valley. We meet at the parking lot of the sports field in Goldrain/Quellensee. We drive together in our own car for approx. 25 minutes to just below an old farm on the Tanaser Sonnenberg (the last 1.5 km of this farm road are not asphalted). Here we start our mountain hiking panorama tour at a leisurely pace into the Litzertal valley until shortly before the Litzeralpl. Across the flat alpine pastures, we reach the Schartlsteig trail, which sometimes leads us a little steeply up to the mountain ridge and offers us a gigantic view. Now it's a short, leisurely ascent to our highest destination on this tour, Rauschegg at 2,286m. The name "Rauschegg" may also come from this gigantic panorama, which sends us into a frenzy of fascination. You really do have half of the Vinschgau Valley at your feet and the 3,000-metre mountain backdrop of the Ortler group opposite takes your breath away - it's best to experience it for yourself... After a rest, the route follows the mountain ridge downhill to the cozy "Oberwies" rest area. After a rest and refreshments (from your own rucksack) we continue downhill where we meet the "Vinschger Höhenweg" which leads us to the starting point of this impressive panoramic hike.
