Panorama trail and slide path in Neukirchen

The panorama trail provides breathtaking perspectives from the mountain station to the middle station of the Wildkogelbahn. It's worth pausing for a moment on the approximately one-hour hike at the scenic rest and power spots: The view of the snow-covered three-thousand-meter peaks of the Hohe Tauern National Park and the highest Salzburg, the Großvenediger at 3,657 meters.

Good slide for the whole family!

At the middle station of the Wildkogelbahn Neukirchen the next highlight is waiting for you. The slide path makes hiking with small and big children really fun. Up to the Stockenbaum Inn, you'll encounter ten stainless steel slides ranging from 22 to 53 meters in length. On slide mats it goes into the slide pleasure. You disappear into tubes, dive into troughs and whiz over waves. The slide with free-fall effect elicits many a scream of surprise.

The use of the slide path is free of charge with a valid ticket of the mountain railroads, open during the operating hours of the Wildkogelbahn.

A comfortable hiking trail leads from Gasthof Stockenbaum back to the center of Neukirchen in about 45 minutes.

Slide mat rental (obligatory) for a fee of € 2.00 per person at the middle station of the Wildkogelbahn.
