Parkplatz Hintersee - Felbertal

Hollersbach 17
Picturesquely nestled between steep rock faces lies Hintersee, whose water is so clear that you can see all the way to the bottom. For thousands of years, the clear water has flowed over smaller and larger waterfalls, forming the distinctive funnel- and cauldron-shaped depressions in the rock massif of the Schösswendklamm. The basin at the end of the Felbertal valley is characterized by the Hintersee lake, which was formed by a rock fall in 1495. Hike along meadow and alpine paths to Hintersee - nibble on various shrubs and taste the natural aroma of "Moosbee" and "Grangen" while you may encounter deer, stags or hares.
A theme trail on the northern shore of the lake illustrates the natural features of this section.
Once you have reached your destination, the Meilinger Alm or the Gamsblickhütte will entice you with regional delicacies, homemade delicacies and rustic charm.
