Bus stop Obermauern (Virgen)
Discover a spectacular section of the Iseltrail together with National Park Ranger:in.
The Isel - East Tyrol's mighty glacial river
On this ranger hike, we tackle the Iseltrail from the "opposite" side. Especially between Ströden and Virgen, the Isel shows its spectacular side. The trail down the valley takes us to the edge of the dramatic and pathless Isel gorge where we can hear the Isel raging deep below. The highlight of this tour is undoubtedly the 84-metre-long and 90-metre-high suspension bridge.
Join us and immerse yourself in the world of the last unspoilt glacial river in the Alps and the wild primeval landscape of the Virgen Valley.
