An absolute insider tip! The Scheibenberg is a wooded mountain directly in front of your balcony with a view of the valley. The hike there is not difficult, but still requires a bit of stamina at around 3 hours. After the approach to the small hamlet of Spiluck, a forest road leads up to the mountain pasture - a short detour up to the Zirmaitalm is definitely recommended. If you don't want to do this, simply turn off beforehand onto the small path up to the Scheibenberg. The panorama is truly magnificent. The entire Brixen valley basin lies directly below you - but apart from a few barking dogs in the Spiluck 500m below, it is as quiet as a mouse. Martina was thrilled. Are you too?
