The rock pyramid of the Peitlerkofel (2850m) is a real landmark on the edge of the Dolomites. Around this striking mountain leads an approximately five and a half hour round hike that leaves nothing to be desired. This tour is not only a real highlight for hiking enthusiasts! Starting from the Würzjoch, the hike leads past the Moibachschlucht gorge to the Gömajoch through the meadows of the Puez-Odle Nature Park via the rugged Peitlerscharte pass and back again. Those interested in geology will certainly not pass by the outcrop of the Moibachschlucht gorge carelessly. And for those who want to go all the way to the top, the way to the summit is open - from the Peitlerscharte the ascent takes about one and a half hours. Surefootedness and a head for heights are absolutely necessary on the short via ferrata at the very end, but are rewarded with a fantastic panorama.
