Guided Hike from the Zillertal Alps Nature Park
A Fabulous Family Tour
We’ll dive into the world of Zillertal legends and set out in search of traces of the Tux Giant. Accompanied by a hiking guide, a well-known storyteller leads us to very special locations. We’ll even follow the giant deep into the heart of the mountain and explore part of the Spannagel Cave. Legend has it that the giant dug this cave with his own hands. The glacier’s massive ice world was also created by the Giant’s supernatural power. That’s why the tour takes us up by gondola to 3,250 m to the panoramic terrace. The tour is conducted in German only! Children must be at least 6 years old and 1.20 m tall to participate. Important for the Spannagel Cave: no fear of enclosed spaces! Proper gear required: hiking boots, sunscreen, jacket, and hat!
