Hike to the Maxhütte

A hike to the Maxhütte in Ginzling is always worthwhile. Especially on overcast or rainy days, the stony path through the enchanted forest seems even more magical. Sturdy shoes and good footing are definitely an advantage. The total of 450 meters in altitude can be done in 1 / 1/4 hour and down in a little less than an hour. This trail teaches you mindfulness, as you live completely in the here and now with every step. You can of course hike further from the Maxhütte into the Gunggl Valley and marvel at the magnificent glacier world at the end of the valley.

The starting point is a few hundred meters after the nature park house in Ginzling, where you can park directly on the road at the Maxhütte sign.
