At the Little Church of St. Erasmo at Cancano in Valdidentro, the customary Holy Mass will be celebrated in commemoration of those who died on the job during the construction of the Val Fraele dams and hydroelectric plants in the 1930s, and those who defended them during World War II.
The ceremony is an important event for the entire upper Valtellina and for the people who shared in the history of these great hydroelectric plants.
A2A top management - along with employees and retirees - and representatives of local institutions and communities will be in attendance.
The ceremony will be held in the presence of the local authorities and local communities.
