Day tours 2026

1 riding day (4-6 hours in the saddle)

Our day tours are an extraordinary experience for all those who want to enjoy the beauty of the Chiemgau Alps in just one day.

Starting from the Hoderhof in Rottau, we ride through moors, alpine and mountain areas or along the Tiroler Ache river, depending on the tour. You can expect varied routes with brisk trotting and galloping sections, impressive views and - depending on the route - river crossings or refreshment stops on alpine pastures.

Highlights & special features:

- Day ride without overnight stay

- Different routes: Moors, alpine pastures, Chiemsee panorama

- Possibility to cross the river (depending on weather conditions)

- Varied routes

Meals: Lunch break with refreshments on alpine pastures or in inns (not included)

Horses & equipment: Spanish horses, Criollos, Lewitzers; trail or western saddles; partly bitless bridles

Prerequisites: Safe in all gaits in the terrain, good physical condition, sure-footedness required, no mental or physical restrictions, in case of doubt you are welcome to write us an email in advance.

Weight restriction: max. 85 kg (without clothing)

Important note: Participation will be refused in the event of incorrect weight information and an actual rider weight over 85 kg. In this case, there is no entitlement to a refund of costs.
