Dolomite valley Villnöss & the Geisler peaks

The imposing Geisler group frames the picturesque Villnöss valley, ideal terrain for nature lovers and hikers. The picturesque Villnöss is located in the Puez Geisler Nature Park and has something to offer for every hiking level. Villnöss is considered the green heart of the nature park, and the visitor centre is also located here. The Villnöss alpine pastures offer with typical dishes a generous insight into the regional cuisine, which is becoming more and more popular. Typical farm and alpine products are tastily presented to hikers and the circular hike runs through beautiful alpine meadows below the Geislerspitzen and the Peitler Kofel. In the long-distance hiking week "Experience the Dolomites World Heritage", the route leads on the first hiking day at the foot of the Geisler peaks and the second stage over into the Ladin heart of South Tyrol: into the Gadertal valley.
