Panoramic summit tour with beautiful new summit cross

A quiet summit tour in the unknown Litzertal valley. We meet at the parking lot of the sports field in Goldrain/Quellensee. We drive together in our own car for approx. 25 minutes to below an old farm on the Tanaser-Sonnenberg (the last 1.5 km of this farm road is not asphalted). Here we start our mountain summit panorama tour at a leisurely pace into the Litzertal valley to the Litzeralpl (not farmed). Via the Almböden we reach the WG which leads us to the Edelweißböden. The route now climbs at a moderate gradient, sometimes flatter, sometimes steeper, with wonderful views of the valley up to below the summit. The last 100 m become steeper and we reach the beautiful new summit cross at the "Litzer Haus" at 2,650 m. The broad summit plateau invites us to take a break and enjoy the fantastic panorama in all directions. After a refreshment (food and drink from your own rucksack), we descend on the other side of the valley into the Litzertal valley, which leads us down to the Litzeralpl and back to the starting point at the parking lot.
