Start from Marienhof through the center of Velden and follow the picturesque lakeside road via Pörtschach, Krumpendorf and Klagenfurt to Reifnitz. From there, the route branches off to St. Margarethen and leads up to the Pyramidenkogel, the highest wooden observation tower in the world. From the top, you can enjoy a spectacular 360-degree view of the entire Lake Wörthersee and the Karawanken mountains.

The return journey takes you via the romantic Maria Wörth peninsula and along the southern shore via Unterdellach back to Velden.
