Enjoyable mountain hike to the Pederköpfl

Panorama mountain hike - small summit climb with a wonderful view of the 3,000 peaks.

The meeting point for this tour is the large parking lot at the sports field in Goldrain. We drive together in our own car to the rear Martell Valley (approx. 20 minutes by car). This mountain hike leads away from the well-known Zufallhütte and Martellerhütte huts into a partly untouched mountain landscape. From the parking lot at the reservoir, we first hike on a pleasant incline through spruce and pine forest to an unmanaged mountain pasture. After a short break with a wonderful panorama, we hike across beautiful mountain meadows up to the beautiful viewpoint, which is dotted with numerous cairns. On the Pederköpfl (2,585m), you have magnificent views over the Zufritt reservoir, the Zufrittkamm ridge, the Veneziaspitzen peaks opposite and the Lasa mountains with the beautifully shaped Lyfispitze peak. After a rest, we descend to the Lyfialm hut, where we are treated to South Tyrolean delicacies at lunchtime. After this refreshment we return to the starting point.
