Trama

On a magical summer night, a man meets a woman and she gives him the gift of her own story. This is how the reader is initiated into the acquaintance of Isabelle, the protagonist of this novel, a woman who, in a path studded also with shadows, has always chosen the light. Each one is her own narrative, and the process of unraveling that Isabelle makes of herself, with the many facets that belong to her, returns in the end a bright and vibrant personality of life, capable of overcoming obstacles, drawing on her own inner energy. Isabelle, through the story, creates herself as a woman and finds herself, and we who read are participants in this realization and remain involved in it. Simona Monti's prose often meets poetry, almost evoking the movement of sea waves that with each flow know how to leave a new gift on the shoreline. The reader will be able to pick up the precious cues and make them his or her own as if they were precious shells surprised on the shoreline.
