Hike to the Ornknott

With the hotel bus we drive to the starting point of our tour. Steeply uphill the path leads us at first through forest, later through open terrain until we reach the summit cross. The Orenknott with its great panorama is definitely worth the strenuous climb. In good weather, the Dolomites seem close enough to touch, but also Königsspitze and Ortler greet majestically from afar. In the upper area there is already the first snow, so sticks are recommended to avoid slipping on the descent. The way down is on the other side of the mountain and we hike over a section of the Meraner Höhenweg back to the

starting point.
