Awarding citizens who, by their activities, with concrete works in the fields of science, letters, arts, industry, labor, school, sports, with initiatives of a social, welfare and philanthropic nature with special cooperation in the activities of public administration, with acts of courage and civic self-sacrifice, have in any way benefited the town of Bormio.
