Departure from Bormio to Mazzo di Valtellina from where the climb up to Mortirolo begins; after the descent in the direction of Monno, you reach Ponte di Legno starting point for the Gavia climb. From the pass, a long descent leads to S. Caterina Valfurva and Bormio.
